Mark Davidson was the most senior officer  and the sniper involved in the Sydney Lindt cafe siege on December 15, 2014, when Man Haron Monis stormed the CBD threatening the lives of innocent bystanders with a rifle and claims of a bomb. Five years on from the tragedy Mark remains traumatised by what wasn't revealed in the Coronial Inquest into that event. 

Dr Maureen Cleary OAM  is an inspirational speaker and high achieving role model to all women . Her speciality is the governance of Church, community and nonprofit organisations.  Dr Cleary was awarded a doctoral degree from the Faculty of Business, University of Technology, Sydney.Dr Cleary was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for services to the community and non for profit organisations.

Elena Fletcher- Carter BSc Mental Health Work She graduated from the University of Greenwich and went on to work as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. She believes in and advocates for equality, diversity, and inclusion in every aspect of our life.Elena was awarded “Mentor of the year 2019” at the trust where she worked in the UK and was involved in the Bring Dementia Out innovation project across the UK.

"From Stephanie to Dalia" Dalia Napier a local Marine Rescue Sussex Inlet volunteer will share her story of her childhood abuse and how she worked her way through it. When a person discloses abuse it can be hard to know how to respond and what to do. Dalia is an inspirational women who is getting on with her life. Learn how she made it through. Dalia is throwing herself open to any question you wish to ask. 


Sat 19 Day delegates who are volunteers of Marine Rescue NSW attend the day event for FREE.

Volunteers of other organisations pay a day delegate cost of $45 each includes lunch.

Full delegates who are volunteers of Marine Rescue NSW pay for accommodation and $25 pp for the dinner Fri night.

Volunteers of other organisations pay a full delegate cost of $70 each plus accommodation if required.
