SHOALHAVEN 30 - 'A.M. McGILVRAY II'
(Radio call sign: Shoalhaven Three Zero)
Shoalhaven 30:
- Is accredited by the NSW State Rescue Board as a Class 3 Rescue Vessel which is certified to go up to 30 nautical miles (54km) offshore.
- Was launched in May 2011. It has an overall length (LOA) of 11.46m and
- Is powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines giving it a maximum speed of over 30 knots.
- Is well equipped with electronics including:
- Multi-Function Displays (MFD),
- Electronic charts,
- Automatic Identification System (AIS),
- Radar,
- VHF radios,
- VHF Radio Direction Finder (RDF) and
- Forward Looking Infra Red camera (FLIR).
- Has a usable range of over 250 nautical miles (460km) at cruising speed of 18-20 knots.
- With full tanks Shoalhaven 30 has an endurance of up to 25 hours at normal search speeds.
- Shoalhaven 30 carries a variety of life saving equipment including
- Automatic External Defibrillator (AED),
- an extensive First Aid kit including an oxygen resuscitation kit.

SHOALHAVEN 20 - 'Crookhaven II'
(Radio call sign: Shoalhaven Two Zero)
Shoalhaven 20:
- Is accredited by the NSW State Rescue Board as a Class 2 Rescue Vessel which is certified to go up to 15 nautical miles (27km) offshore.
- Is a 7.5 metre Ocean Cylinder all aluminium vessel launched in 2017. This vessel is powered by twin 150hp Suzuki four stroke outboard engines.
- Is equipped with:
- VHF radios,
- Radar,
- Forward Looking Infra Red camera (FLIR),
- electronic charts and
- Automatic Identification System (AIS), monitored on three Raymarine Multi Function Displays (MFD).
- Cost around $300,000 and is a sister ship to Jervis Bay 20 and Batemans Bay 20, both launched in 2016, and to Ulladulla 20 which was launched in 2017.
- Carries a variety of life saving equipment including Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), an extensive First Aid kit including an oxygen resuscitation kit.

MR24 (RADIO CALL SIGN: MARINE RESCUE TWO FOUR)
MR24:
- Is accredited by the NSW State Rescue Board as a Rescue Vessel which is certified to operate on all NSW Inland Waterways.
- Is a 6.24 metre Sentinel 615BD vessel launched in 2024 Is a Multi–Purpose Vessel (MPV) designed and built of high–density polyethylene (HDPE) with an under–deck area fully filled with closed cell foam providing exceptional stability and buoyancy.
- Has a 1.3m wide bow loading door for shoreside loading of persons with limited mobility (wheelchairs, scooters, prams), quad bikes, rolling cargo and other equipment up to 1000kg.
- Is equipped with:
o VHF radio with DSC,
o Electronic charts,
o Raymarine Multi Function Display (MFD),
o Automatic Identification System (AIS) - Carries a variety of life saving equipment including a Scale ‘F’ First Aid Kit and
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Is a sister ship to MR25.
