SHOALHAVEN 20     'Crookhaven II'



Shoalhaven 20 is a 7.5metre Ocean Cylinder all aluminium vessel which arrived Friday 3 February 2016 and was launched at Grays Beach Nowra.  The new vessel is a 7.5 metre Ocean Cylinder built by Yamba Welding & Engineering and is powered by twin 150hp Suzuki four stroke outboard engines.  Electronics provided by Raymarine and include radar, FLIR, electronic charts and AIS, all monitored through three multi-function displays.

Shoalhaven 20 cost around $300,000.00 and is a sister ship to Jervis Bay 20, Batemans Bay 20 which were launched in 2016, and to Ulladulla 20 which was also launched in 2017.

Our latest vessel arrived in July 2011, is accredited as a Class 3 Rescue Vessel and is a quantum leap in capability and performance over all of our previous boats. Sporting twin 420HP Yanmar diesels capable of around 30Kts and an electronics suite including MFDU (Multi Function Display Units), Automated Information System (AIS), VHF DF and FLIR (Forward Looking Infra Red) alongside standard equipment she is at the pointy end of Marine Rescue technology. A range of well over 350NM and capable of handling rough seas with ease with an economical cruising speed of 18-20Kts at 2200RPM.
